Radiologist's Description: An enlarged lymph node is visible within the portal hilar region. Notice the slightly irregular shape of the cranial pole with the adjacent echogenic, heteroechoic region (arrow). These findings could be the result of neoplastic infiltration or reactive enlargement with mild regional fibrosis. PV: Portal vein.
Definitive Diagnosis: Periportal lymphadenopathy. Agressive inflammatory hepatopathy or neoplastic infiltration suspected. No sampling was performed.
