Signalment: 8 year old MN Ferret

Radiologist's Description: In this image, an ovoid, fairly well encapsulated, hypoechoic right adrenal tumor is focally impinging on the adjacent caudal vena cava (CVC). The echogenic interface associated with the caudal vena caval wall is interrupted at the level of the right adrenal tumor, suggesting mural and luminal invasion (arrow). Narrowed intraluminal caval blood flow at the level of the right adrenal tumor also supports invasion. Conclusions: Right adrenal tumor with adjacent caudal vena caval involvement.

Definitive Diagnosis: US Dx: Right adrenal tumor with caval invasion.
