Signalment: 12 year old MN DSH
Radiologist's Description: The left limb of the pancreas is moderately enlarged with an hypoechoic, coarse parenchyma. The left pancreatic duct is mildly dilated and tortuous with a mildly thickened and echogenic wall (thin arrow). The periphery of the pancreas is bordered by a moderately echogenic omentum and mesentery (wide arrow). Conclusions: Moderate pancreatitis with peripancreatic inflammation.
Definitive Diagnosis: USG FNA: Mixed pancreatic inflammation.
